Q&A
"Do we need sprints, standups, and project management tools to work together?"
No.
I actually wrote a whole book called The Project Management Manifesto because I think a lot of people are using process where they don't need process. They're adding ceremony when what they really need is clarity.
How We'll Work
We'll keep our work as simple as possible:
- Break things down into stages
- Make small promises
- Deliver those stages one at a time
Simple Tracking
How we track that can be very simple:
- A list
- A doc
- A small board
How we communicate can be natural:
- Messages when they matter
- Calls when they're needed
We don't need to complicate communication just to feel "organized."
The simpler the setup, the easier it is to see what's going on and keep moving.
